Sprint has finally announced the release date for the Photon 4G, the first international-friendly 4G smartphone to be offered by the carrier. Set to go on sale to the general public on July 31st for $199.99 on a 2-year contract, Sprint Premier customers will be able to snag the Android 2.3 device three days early on July 28th. Its specs include a 4.3″ qHD display, 8 megapixel camera, 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor with 1GB RAM each, 16GB of internal memory, 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot, and Sprint ID.
