Apple puts in an order for 15 Million iPhone 5′s?

It really does seem like all arrows are pointing to a back-to-school launch of the forthcoming 5th-gen iPhone. Today’s reports come courtesy of DigiTimes who claim Taiwanese parts supplier Pegatron has received an order for 15 million iPhone 5′s (or 4S, whatever the final name is) from Apple, with a scheduled September delivery. The only real standout-ish part of this latest scoop is that sources are claiming the new iPhone “does not seem to have any major update from iPhone 4″ - a contradiction of recent reports saying it has been.
Below is the original quote:
“Taiwan-based maker Pegatron Technology is estimated to have landed orders for 15 million iPhone 5s (iPhone 4S) from Apple and is set to start shipping in September of 2011, according to sources from upstream component makers. In response, Pegatron declined to comment about its cooperation with clients… The sources pointed out that as the iPhone 5, which does not seem to have any major update from iPhone 4, is already set for shipment in September, they are already started supplying components to Pegatron with Pegatron’s plants in Shanghai, China also recently started hiring for manpower.”
