Fresh out of Germany, a new video of Sony’s soon-to-be-released dual-screen S2 tablet has hit the net. It’s not a very long video, clocking in at 18 seconds, but that’s definitely enough time to grasp what the PlayStation Certified, Tegra-2 powered device is all about. Looking a lot like a sleek glasses case while closed, opening up the hinged device reveals two 5.5″ 1024×480 displays. It’s a very interesting idea, and we can’t wait to see what sort of applications third-party developers will bring to the table. Sony has yet to announce when the S2 will be available for purchase in North America, but rumor has it that Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G versions will be available in Europe as early as September.
