As with all mobile based products, with popularity comes development, and today proves just how popular the iPad really is: it has over 100,000 apps available for download in the App Store - not too shappy for a tablet only a year and change old.

When the iPad launched back in April of 2010, the apps were few and far between. A month later they had 75,000 apps available - that’s about 280 apps made per day. And, as always, Apple remains very modest about their success, choosing to focus on end-user experience rather than bragging rights.
