TELUS & Skype Team Up
TELUS has just announced a new program in partnership with Skype for all of you who have smartphones. With the new program you can now use Skype calling and instant messaging from your phone via the TELUS network or via Wi-Fi.
From what I understand based on the website linked below and the information I took a screenshot of the charge for using Skype from your TELUS phone will be included on your TELUS bill. You do this by buying blocks of “Skype credits” from TELUS available in increments of $5, $10, & $20.
The Skype rates for international calling begin at 2.7¢/minute. The charges for the blocks will show up on your bill as “Application Purchase”.
