We’ve all asked it umpteen times when doing an upgrade: “Can I trade back my old phone”? For the most part the retail person (myself formerly included) would scoff at the idea of taking back an old beat up phone, claiming insensitively “whadda I need that for”? Well, friends, Fido heard your cries, and have partnered with popular Best Buy/Future Shop program “flipswap”, which awards you with an in-store gift card when trading in your previously cherished phone. The new program launches July 11th and is aptly called “FidoTRADE” - depending on the value of your device, the in-store Fido rep will offer a credit towards your new phone when upgrading.

Great company, great idea, great incentive.

A joke. Only applicable if it is a FIDO phone. Doesn’t apply if your phone is from another network. They’re just trying to get you in the door for a sales pitch.
    MISLEADING.
