Rumor: Palm Pre 3 to ship with webOS 2.2 and Skype integration

Amidst all the recent backlash surrounding its competition (if you don’t know who I’m referring to, read ANY newspapers tech section) it’s nice to see some good news popping up courtesy of HP/Palm. Here are the most recent rumors to pop-up in regards to the forthcoming Palm Pre 3:
- Verizon is tentatively shooting for a July 21st launch of the Pre3. AT&T, meanwhile, is seemingly planning on a launch sometime in the next few months, though specific dates aren’t being tossed around just yet.
- The Palm Pre 3 will ship with full Skype integration as seen above
- The Pre3 will ship with webOS 2.2 (as opposed to webOS 2.3.1, as the device’s FCC documentation indicated)
With the TouchPad having just launched and now some killer news dropping on the Pre 3, here’s hoping this summer is one filled with webOS love.
