A Couple of iPhone 5 Rumors

Rumors and news are popping up about the next iPhone. France Telecom CEO Stephane Richard said that he is working with Apple on the new iPhone and said, “I understood that the next iPhone would be smaller and thinner and they are definitely seeking some space.” He says this in regard to the size of the SIM card and their working to make it smaller or make the phone SIM card-less.
Want more iPhone 5 (or iPhone 4Gs) speculation? There are rumors that the new model of the phone will feature a curved class display, akin to the 4th and 5th generation iPod Nano.
Apple has also reportedly purchased 200 patents from Freescale Semiconductor. It’s unclear whether these patents were purchased for use or to block competitors out.
Whatever the case, the phone is rumored to be released in September; it’ll be interesting to see which of these rumors are true.
