As you probably already know, LiveProfile has been updating their BlackBerry app very regularly and last week I told you how they promised that the latest version of the app was coming soon. Well, just last night - at 4:43am EST - they tweeted:

“LiveProfile BlackBerry update 1.0.17 now available! Major bug fixes and running much faster…”

So naturally I went to go update the app and as you can see above I got to download v1.0.18, not v1.0.17 but I am totally OK with an ever newer version as always!

No changelog is available for this new version aside from the claim that it had some major bug fixes and the app on the whole is running much faster. Although, to be honest, I haven’t had a chance to try it, choosing to post this blog posting instead so everyone else can see that there’s a new version of the app. I can only guess that this new version includes the new languages I mentioned in my last blog post about this app.

As well, yesterday at 1:31pm EST LiveProfile tweeted:

“We performed major server upgrades last night around 3-4am EST. All upgrades were successful and running faster than ever!”

Again, great news for anyone who relies on LiveProfile to keep in touch with their freinds and family who aren’t BlackBerry (and therefore) BBM users.
