More news coming out of the new carriers today in that Mobilicity announced that they’re celebrating their One Year Anniversary this weekend. Over the course of this year, the company has launched in five different Canadian markets (the greater metropolitan areas of Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver), gotten $215 million of new financing, opened over 700 retail locations, and growing their subscriber base rapidly.

The Mobilicity press release (linked below) tells the stories of a few Mobilicity customers in Toronto - Roger Angeles, Kacey-Ann Baptiste, and Vineet Sharma - all from different walks of life and personal backgrounds who chose Mobilicity when it launched in Toronto last spring, still use and love the service and how it works with their specific needs.
