[UPDATED] Live Review and Giveaway: Otterbox “Defender” Series Case for the BlackBerry PlayBook [Video]

UPDATE: I truly apologize for my tardiness with this announcement. The winner of the PlayBook Defender case is @pozi240! Thanks to all who entered and stay tuned for more!
Otterbox is a name synonymous with strength; you can do practically anything you want to your device with one of their cases on and not think twice about it.
While that’s all well and good, every time I do see one of these cases reviewed online, they are just overviews or un-boxings; rarely do any of my fellow bloggers have the chutzpah (jewish slang for nerve) to actually test it out in a real life scenario (especially if it involves one of their personal devices) — no offense boys and girls, but it’s true. So I figured: “I am currently reviewing the PlayBook anyways, why not kill two birds with one stone”?, well that’s exactly what I did.
Armed with an Otterbox Defender, a BlackBerry Playbook, and of course my trusty camcorder, I headed to a nearby park to test this bad-boy out. Although the conditions weren’t “bad” per-say, I did do some pretty gut-wrenching things to the PlayBook while it was covered.

It turns out this case is really one tough cookie — is anyone surprised? Not me.
So, in lieu of me being nuts this video — and me being the generous guy that I am — we are going to contest off an Otterbox Defender for the BlackBerry PlayBook as showcased above (don’t worry, not the one in the video). All you need to do is leave a comment saying why you need such a heavy duty case. As always, you must leave your Twitter name in the comment, Like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter to be eligible; if you have done the latter two, you are automatically eligible with the comment. Contest closes a week today Friday May 20th, 2011.
Good luck to all who enter!
