BlackBerry Messenger Updated To v5.0.3.22

Research In Motion’s BlackBerry has just announced the release of a new version of their uber-popular messaging application BlackBerry Messenger (aka BBM). The new version is v5.0.3.22 and is available in BlackBerry App World.

According to App World here is the changelog for BBM v5.0.3:

• Support for Hindi and Vietnamese

• Simplified sending of pictures and voice notes

• More user-friendly wording and organization in menus

• Support for a simpler, one line view of contact list

• Support for both deleting an unsent chat message (Shift-Del) and escaping out of a chat while retaining an unsent chat message (Escape button)

I dont understand how to delete an unsent message… it says shit-del… meaning alt + del?? its confusing… i tried everything! or the escape button to get out of a chat while retatining an unsent chat message??? how do you do these?? was anyone able to do this??

Both are working fine on my BlackBerry Torch running OS 6.0.0.546, Gaspiii. What phone are you using? What OS? Are you sure you updated to this latest version of BBM?

The Shift button referred to in the post is the buttons which are on either side of the bottom row of of your keypad. They one on the left (to the left of the ’0′) says on it - ↑aA - that’s an up arrow, a lowercase letter A and an uppercase letter A.

As well, with the Escape Button, I think you might be pushing the wrong button because I am having no problems with it either. The escape button referred to in the post is the one directly to the right of your trackpad that has an arrow going in a U shape.
