Some Saturday Afternoon Apple Updates

Apple is still adamant on denying they’ve been tracking their users. An official senate hearing to come on May 2nd. Apple says they will be attending the hearing.
Apple’s user base seems to be inflating considerably. They’ve reportedly surpassed RIM and Motorolla to become the third largest phone seller in the USA and even outdoing Microsoft in quarterly sales and profits; a large feat considering Microsoft and Apple’s famous rivalry.
The new white iPhone 4 has reportedly been selling well, allegedly selling out in China. Reports are saying that the new white iPhone 4 is .02mm thicker than the black iPhone 4 released last year. This may be a problem because there are many accessories fitted for the iPhone 4 that may not fit the new White iPhone.
The iPad apparently has 74% of the tablet market share, and is causing trouble for the laptop because many are vying for the tablet alternative. Also, the iPad 2 is coming to India this week. It will be interesting to see how it sells there.
In other Apple news, rumors are still to be confirmed that they are dubbing their cloud service iCloud. This comes after evidence that they’ve spent millions on the domain.
And, in the category of bad news, Samsung is now officially suing Apple in the USA, as well as the earlier reported lawsuits taking place in Japan, Germany and Korea.
