I really love this app.

With QR codes slowly creeping into our everyday lives, learning how to actually decode them is the biggest learning curve. When you go into your respective devices’ app store to download a reader app, you are bombarded with dozens of them — half of which don’t work properly- and it’s hard to narrow down which is worth downloading and which should be ignored. Well, I am one of those people who likes to test things out (not to mention I run a company which specializes in implementing them) and have downloaded all to make sure they are both functional and worth my time; unfortunately, a bulk of them aren’t. This one however is the icing on the cake for BlackBerry users — it simply works.

I reported about the update to version 1.7 last month and here is The Jared Company back again, killing it. The app is solid, works like a charm, keeps a history of all the scans done, and has secured its status as my “Go-To” for all scans done via BlackBerry. Today’s update — though not a huge one — brings “minor improvements and bug fixes”.
