CTIA 2011: Samsung announces pricing and launch date of new 8.9 and 10.1 Galaxy Tabs

10.1″ screen? Check. Dual-core processor? Check. Thinner than the iPad 2? — I really hope you are following the trend here, but for those who aren’t — check!
Today at Orlando’s CTIA conference, Samsung held their much anticipated press conference — where after weeks of teasing - they finally announced the two newest additions to their Galaxy Tab line of Tablet devices: the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 respectively. Both tablets look hot and are slated to be the first devices to not run a full Android 3.0 (honeycomb) user experience, instead they will also feature Samsung’s new proprietary TouchWiz UX or TouchWiz 4.0 interface.
Pricing and launch for each is as follows:
The WiFi 10.1 will land on June 8th in the US — the 16GB version will cost you $499 and the 32GB $599. The 8.9 is $469 and $569 for 16GB and 32GB, respectively.
