Why QR scanning hasn’t become a standard camera feature yet is beyond me; I mean the capabilities are obviously there, I guess it’s just a matter of time until the feature is finally implemented. Until that day does come, there are still a bevy of different apps at the users disposal to use across all platforms in their respected App Stores — most being generally free.

Today I am talking about one of my favorites for BlackBerry users called QR Scanner Pro by The Jared Company, and the update it received today from 1.65 to 1.7 featuring the following changes:

• Speed Improvements
• Verified Auto-Focus
• On screen history access button

In terms of usability, effectiveness and speed, this is one of my favorite apps to use and I recommend you giving it a try.
