Fresh from Nokia Beta Labs: Shoot and Tag scene app for your Symbian phone

Many-a-blogger stated when Nokia first announced the N8 last year: “The N8 could be a great device, too bad Symbian gets in the way”, and they couldn’t have been more right. I mean, the device has a 12MP Camera (highest of any in-market phone and better than the beloved iPhone 4), that phone fanatics don’t care to capitalize on solely based on the platform they would be forced to work with. Well, Nokia doesn’t see it the same way we do and have come out of the Beta Labs with a new app — only available as a Beta from Nokia — that totally capitalizes on that magnificent camera that no one is using.
Aptly titled “Shoot and Tag”, the app automatically creates individual scenes in the videos you shoot on your phone, similar to the chapters on a DVD. But that ain’t all! You can also create your own scene markers, just in case you find yourself capturing footage you know you’ll want handy access to later — score!
