We all knew this day would come, the end of an era, and it’s the separation anxiety that makes us not want to acknowledge it. Sad news comes from Rogers today that our beloved white Bold 9700, the sexier version of the former RIM flagship device has officially been put on EOL status (end of life).

No word on funeral arrangements just yet or even a memorial, but rest assured will update as we know more — I think now is the time to hug your new 9780 and show it the love it so rightfully deserves.
