Today, Bell Canada announced that they will be offering their customers data plans specifically for the upcoming Apple iPad 2 (for the model with WiFi and 3G) in the coming weeks. As most people are aware the iPad 2 is the latest iteration of the popular iPad. The iPad 2 was announced last week to be launching in Canada on March 25th and in the USA on March 11th.

The release we got from Bell did not, however, mention if the iPad 2 that is going to be on Bell will be the HSPA flavor - like that of all GSM providers - or the 1xEV-DO flavor like Verizon is going to have. The reason we are wondering this is because now Bell has both a 1xEV-DO and a HSPA network. Maybe they will offer both? Only time will tell.
