Many will agree Apple’s iOS platform is one of the best, most stable and easiest to use mobile operating systems available on the market. That being said, many will also agree its biggest downfall is a feature that should have been fixed numerous updates ago — its notification system. There is nothing more annoying than being in the middle of an intense game, email, text etc. and being interrupted by an “in your face” alert, whether you like it or not.

Well, Peter Hajas felt our pain and decided to take the initiative to do something about it by creating “Mobile Notifier”. I could easily tell ya all about it, but, I don’t think I could do it the same justice that he can.. have a watch:

You’ve probably guessed that this feature isn’t part of any yet-to-be released update and you are right, it’s a jailbreak-only thing. So, if you have joined the darkside and want to finally liberate your notifications system, open Cydia, add this repo, and have fun — trust me, it’s worth it.
