RIM Chief Marketing Officer Keith Pardy Resigns

In a weird turn of events and with just a month left before the PlayBook officially hits the masses, RIM Chief Marketing Officer Keith Pardy has resigned from his post.
Word comes from the WSJ (Wall Street Journal) that Pardy will step down due to “personal reasons”, after a 6 month transition period is up. The anonymous source also tells the WSJ that “this decision was made months ago, due to larger turmoil within RIM”.
Hopefully this latest news doesn’t hinder sales of the forthcoming tablet, which as we all know has A LOT of competition to compete with. I guess only time will tell.
