What you are looking at here is the “world’s thinnest phone”, the 7.2mm thin, Android 2.2 (Upgradeable to 2.3 in July) powered NEC MEDIAS N-04C.

At a recent Docomo launch event, Akihabara News were given a very candid hands-on with this sexy piece of smartphone, which features the following specs.

  • NFC
  • 1seg TV Tuner
  • infrared port
  • 5 megapixel camera
  • 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 chip, etc.

Oh yeah, one more thing, it also uses Gorilla Glass — epic. The device launches on March. 15th in Black or White, with a yet-to-be determined price, and will be exclusive to Japanese customers only (Boo!).
