Rogers Announces Expanded HSPA+ Coverage In Manitoba Launching March 31, 2025

Yesterday, Rogers Wireless announced an increase of the HSPA+ coverage in Manitoba coming the end of March. According to the Rogers Wireless press release the greater geographic reach of the expanded network will cover 96% of the Manitoba population. The coverage of Manitoba already included much of southern Manitoba (as you can see in the above map, or if you want it in higher resolution it is linked below as well) but this new expansion will bring coverage to new areas like Thompson, The Pas, and Flin Flon St. Theresa Point, Grand Rapids and along Hwy 10 and Hwy 6 in Manitoba.
The new network will bring, according to the press release, “download speeds of up to 21 megabits per second - the fastest speeds available in Manitoba.”
See below for the current Rogers coverage maps in Manitoba (click to enlarge). As you can see, currently only Winnipeg and its suburbs have HSPA+/3G coverage.
