WIND Mobile has just announced a very cool and interesting competition. The 5 winners of the competition will get to have a conversation with anyone they want to in the world. To make this happen WIND is going to be donating over half a million dollars to Canadian charities. Once the winners are confirmed and have chosen the personalities they would like to speak to WIND will donate $100,000 to the charity of that personality’s choice for having the conversation. As well, an additional $100,000 will be donated to the six most popular charities as voted online on WIND’s Best Conversation Ever site (see link below).

This means WIND will be donating more an amazing $600,000 to charity just so people can speak to their idols and/or heroes. Pretty cool.

The competition began today and will run until March 7, 20111. The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges composed of “WIND judges” as well as “industry leading bloggers” the latter which includes Henna Singh, Ashley Carter, Ian Hardy, Mike Morrison, Rob Blackstein (see the link below for their bios). Entries will be judged based on their creativity as judged by the panel (with a 60% weighting to their overall score) and the number of votes they receive (40% weighting to overall score).
