BlackBerry Torch 2 Details & Photo Leaked!

The successor to the BlackBerry Torch 9800 (Torch 1?) has just been leaked to the blogosphere! BGR is reporting the technical specifications of the device - scheduled for release in the later end of 2011 Q3 on AT&T in the USA - are quite a step up from its older brother. They even managed to snag a picture of the upcoming Torch 2 (above).
According to the reports the phone’s exterior will remain largely the same - although personally I hope they change 2 major things: 1) Move the charging port so it isn’t in the way when you try to type while the phone is charging and 2) bring back the left side convenience key which has traditionally been defaulted for (and for me actually used for) voice dialing/voice commands.
Alas, the Torch 2 is scheduled to run BlackBerry OS 6.1 & NOT QNX.
Below are the details of the upcoming new addition to the Torch line of BlackBerry smartphones. I have also included the specs for the current Torch 9800 as a comparison where relevant.

- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- Tri-band HSPA 14.4Mbps
- 3.2-inch VGA 640 x 480 capacitive display - Torch 1: same physical screen size but half as many pixels with a 360 x 480 HVGA

- 512MB RAM - Torch 1: same
