WordPress App Arrives For Windows Phone 7

It has been about a week now that I have been using Windows Phone 7 as my primary daily driver. Yes, it has definitely been an adjustment over my standard iPhone, but for the most part I am happy with it now.
Of the more notable shortcomings of WP7 is the lack of downloadable apps to choose from (and I don’t mean Angry Birds, although it isn’t available yet either), one of which being the WordPress app. Being a blogger, I sometimes rely heavily on the app to ensure I get news out on time, even while away from a computer, so not having it can get bothersome.
Well, my prayers have been answered. In partnership with Microsoft and software developer iSoftStone, WordPress posted on their blog today that the WordPress App for Windows Phone 7 went live in the Marketplace free of charge.

It looks gorgeous and very user friendly. Can’t wait to try it out for myself.

Please note: It hasn’t gone live for Canadian users just yet, hang tight
