Just in time for the holidays; what was once limited to just being used within the realms of Google Maps, Latitude is now downloadable and can be used as a stand-alone friend tracking app. Login, search your friends, let them search you, etc.

Privacy controls are in place for the “extra-special” buggers, but for the most part it’s a free-for-all — so be good.
