Yesterday we posted the staggering amount of Android devices activated daily. A stat that is not only impressive, but something very tough to keep pace with, even for a giant such as HTC.

DigiTimes reported:

“HTC has reportedly informed its suppliers that it will eventually need parts and components for the production of up to 60 million handsets in 2011″.

This past year was a huge one for HTC, having produced some of the best Android devices on the market (Desire, Desire Z, Legend), as well as the Surround a Windows Phone 7 device. One can only imagine the goodies coming up in 2011.
