Today, BGR got an exclusive up close and personal demo of the BlackBerry PlayBook by RIM’s Platform Lead of the QNX team, Julian Dolce. They weren’t allowed to touch the device for themselves so the ‘hands on’ part of the demo was all Julian Dolce’s hands.

Lucky for us, they took 10 minutes of high definition video of the experience and posted it for all the world to see. Enjoy it below!

From what I saw in the video: Universal Search is something that the team at RIM are working on but it is not in the PlayBook’s OS as of yet. The keyboard IS multi-touch. Portrait & landscape keyboard are available. The question WAS asked about how the PIN would work & if the PlayBook would have its own PIN or would it need to be paired with your BlackBerry to use its PIN and how BlackBerry Messenger would work with it and Mr Dolce just didn’t answer - very smoothly I might add! I noticed there are TWO browsers on that particular PlayBook one called ‘Browser’ the other ‘Torch Browser’.
