The BlackBerry 9780 Finally Lands At T-Mobile

At long last, the BlackBerry 9780 has been launched by T-Mobile in the US and I couldn’t be more excited.
Now you may be asking:,”CellGuru, it is available in Canada on all the major carriers, what is the big deal about the T-Mobile version?” Well my dear readers, I shall tell you.
T-Mobile is the AWS carrier in the US (our equivalents in Ontario are WIND and Mobilicity) and have quite the selection of devices to run on said network, something we here generally are lacking on. Not only do they have some droolworthy Android phones (MyTouch 4G and HTC G2), but with the launch of the 9780, those of us with BlackBerries on Mobilicity (that have taken advantage of the friends and family plan) have the opportunity to use a more better device. In the image above, the 9780 is priced off-contract roughly the same amount as the 9700 is here at $449.99US and is an upgraded version of the same phone. The only REAL obstacle in this is the shipping and unlocking, which are both very easy to overcome through a variety of outlets.
Anywho, if you’re a Yank, like contracts, and want to jump on this hot new device click here.
