Google Docs finally enabled for mobile editing

Productivity and smart phones run hand-in-hand, which is what makes this news so ironic.
There is nothing worse than reading through a Google Doc while on the road with your smartphone or tablet and not being able to make changes to the Doc because, well, it wasn’t supported by Google.
Well, effective today the roll-out of mobile editing has started; edits will show up in almost real time across platforms, and you can even edit tables embedded in documents. Currently Google Docs will be supporting Android devices with Froyo and iOS devices with 3.0 or newer (including the iPad, yes…you can finally get some good use out of it ), with the full functionality rolling out in the next few days. It will even support text-to-voice recognition on Android.
