my brother has this phone, the specs for this phone are top notch but i was really disappointed with its performance, i dont know if it was 1.6 or the UX platform or the combination of both but no matter what you were doing there was a lot of lag, keyboard would take a second or two to register your input, maybe it was just me but applications load time and multi-tasking seemed a little slow for a 1GHZ as well, my magic with a 528MHZ seemed like it could go through apps and load apps quicker, but i bet HTC SENSE UI is less CPU intensive as UX. The UX platform in all gives a nice experience though, Sony did a good job on the UI, it makes using ur phone fun, so im hoping this update will make things a little smoother and really utilize that 1GHZ….anyone else find their x10 was slow with 1.6?

its it OTA as well or just sonys website?

As far as we know, just from the site.

    Yah Crowley, totally right.
I found the device unusable, Daniel shares similar feelings.
