Really wish manufacturers would get with the times. 1.6 is 3 versions behind where we’re at right now. Why put donut on any new device when there is eclair, froyo, and soon to be gingerbread, not to mention the little updates in between

1.6 -> 2.0 -> 2.0.1 -> 2.1 -> 2.2 -> 2.2.1 -> soon 2.3

Ok..I just picked up the Dell Streak..Very nice build quality…I have noticed a few little bugs in the software thought…I noticed the twitter widget will not connect…Keeps telling me my account does not exist. I can log in the actual twitter using the browser and also found a few issues with the browser…Keeps freezing up and force closing when trying to use the pinch to zoom function. Not sure if this is common or just an issue with my phone. I did call Rogers and they may give me a new one if this is indeed an issue with mine…Otherwise this is by far the best phone I own…I also have the Galaxy S GT i9000 (currently out for repair) lol …Acer liquid E (rooted and running 2.2) and my old iphone 3G 8Gb…just sold my other iphone 3GS..not into apple anymore…and my X10…garbage…even with the new update…my opinion only..nothing against sony…just did not like the phone…Anyways…let me know if any of you have had issues with their Streak…Cheers
