Within a matter of 2 weeks we have learned that not only is this device coming to Canada, but that Rogers will be one of the 3G carriers planning on selling it; needless to say everything about this device seems to be a bit…umm… rushed.

If you needed further confirmation that it is coming (within a matter of weeks even) you can see above that the dummies have begun to arrive in retail stores. As of yet there really hasn’t been a strong marketing push (if any) on it in Canada, so I am hoping to start seeing something soon to drive sales…cause we all know how the Pre One sold with Bell, right?

As for specs. some new features to expect from the Palm Pre 2 include: WebOS 2.0, 1GHz processor, and a 5MP Camera among the other standard features returning from its predecessor including the ever popular screen and form factor.

Listen, I know there has been much nay-say from consumers in regards to this device and WebOS in general, but I have used both extensively and like a pint of Guinness, the appreciation was acquired. For someone who isn’t so focused on apps, more so on email (yes, I did like the keyboard), ease of use, and functionality, this device may definitely be of interest to you if you are really looking for change.

As of yet there is no official detail on a release date or price from Rogers, but expect it to launch around mid-November.
