The time has finally come.

Beginning this Thursday Skyfire 2.0 will be available for purchase in the App Store for $2.99.

But what is the big deal you may ask? There are other 3rd party web browsers available to download, most for free even, right? Yes, this is true. The difference between the other apps and Skyfire, is that Skyfire offers the ability to convert Flash to HTML5, thus allowing you to watch your favorite online videos directly on that sexy retina display you fought so hard for — Amazing, eh?

Skyfire CEO Jeff Glueck had this to say:

“the app was given a rather rigorous review from Apple, but it was approved in less than two months. Apple did not return a request for comment on why it approved Skyfire for its App Store”

Now that word is out on this, who plans on buying it on Thursday?
