Is Samsung making the Nexus Two?

Android fan-boys can start rejoicing.
Rumor has it Google is bringing back the Nexus series of devices (the Nexus One by HTC was officially discontinued a few months ago) this time with a different manufacturer in tow.
Reports are that Samsung and Google are working on developing the Nexus Two, although the name has not been made official by either parties.
If the above phone render looks eerily familiar to you.. you are right, supposedly Samsung is modelling the Nexus Two after their popular Galaxy Series of devices: including a front facing camera and the ability to record videos.
Gizmodo had this to say about the device:
“It’s black and shiny, built with glossy plastic. Up close, though, it’s “got this curve to it.” While the screen, which our source thinks is the same 4-inch AMOLED affair from the Galaxy series, is flat, the front is “sort of concave” with hard edges. And the back is curved. The tapering makes it feel thinner than Galaxy S, though it might be about the same thickness. “It feels really similar to the Galaxy S in a lot ways”.
Reports also suggest that the device will be announced in New York at the Samsung Mobile event November 8th, luckily, whether real or not TheCellularGuru.com will be there covering the event live, so we will update as we know more.
