Rogers to change back to 24 month upgrade eligibility?

Exactly a week ago today news spread like wildfire that Rogers would push the 24 month upgrade eligibility 6 more months to a grueling 30 months; needless to say people weren’t too happy.

Rumor has it said backlash proved to be successful and Rogers listened; supposedly they intend on going back to the original 24 month eligibility process as early as next week (beginning of November).

Could this be due to new hardware launching, increased competition, or simply waking up and smelling the coffee? No one knows for sure, but if the change does happen, I will hat-tip Rogers’ accordingly for finally listening to their customers for a change.

    The fact that they are losing customers and sales are down probably has a lot to do with it.
