Rumors have been swirling about the white iPhone 4 for weeks now.

Manufacturing issues aside, people are itching to find out when they can get their hands on this elusive bad-boy; today’s story just adds fuel to the fire.

Supposedly, Apple’s Store iOS app (which products can be ordered and reserved from) was updated recently with a bit of a surprise to anxious customers: the ability to order the white iPhone 4 in 16 or 32GB models. Shocker.. I know. Much to the dismay of many when you actually try to order the sucker, you are greeted by the following message:

“Because of high demand, we are not currently taking iPhone reservations”

Annoying misunderstanding is all it really is, but regardless I want me an iPhone in white, so please, Apple if you are listening….release it
