Want an upgrade from Rogers? Now, the wait is even longer

Ahh yes, the ever popular upgrade process and how it has changed over the times.
When I first worked for Rogers it was every 12 months, elating customers who’s devices would crap out within the year. Than, last year it was bumped to 24 months for all smartphone devices (non-smartphones were exempted from this), customers were enraged, but as always got over it. As most know (basically the same concept as offering unlimited) the average person doesn’t need the frequent upgrade as much as they think; they are used because it is convenient and no one likes using an outdated phone.
Effective today, Rogers has pushed your upgrade even further ahead, 6 months more to be exact. This time ALL devices excluding iPhones are included and there really isn’t much that can be done to change this. Irritating? Yes a bit, but we Rogers customers should be used to forced change by now, right? (Forced change is when a carrier changes a feature of a contract post-signing and there isn’t much we as customers can do about it)
