Fresh off the tip line comes another exciting scoop for all you faithful Rogers Android lovers.

Our friend Spinz just let us know that rumors are circulating around a Monday Oct.18th launch of the Galaxy S Captivate.

We all know dummies have arrived at stores and the launch party is just around the corner so this new bit of information does fall into place.

Let’s see how it all pans out.

UPDATE: Rogers has just announced on their Redboard Blog that they are working on launching the device next week, good timing, eh?

UPDATE 2: We just received an email from Rogers saying:

“After several manufacturer delays, we have received our first shipment of the Samsung Galaxy S Captivate smartphone. This morning, we began shipping these units to retail locations and a limited supply of inventory will be in stores over the next few days.”

I suggest calling your local store and getting put on a waiting list, one can expect GTA wide sell-outs.
