If any of you are like me, you are probably annoyed of hearing the same old talk recently.

Every blog is iPhone this, BlackBerry that, Android mod here, WP7 there — yes it IS the news, but it has gotten a tad bit boring.

Thankfully, French carrier SFR has decided to spice up our days a bit and I couldn’t be happier. The picture seen above is of the yet to be released Palm Pre 2, sporting HP’s new Web OS 2, although not much is known about this secretive little thing, some of the following specs. were released:

• Slightly updated look
• A flatter screen
• 1GHz processor
• 512MB RAM
• MicroUSB door has been removed, and the edges are now a matte finish, leading to believe that the crack-prone plastic has been replaced for something stronger.

Other than some references to battery life enhancements, better contact management, and a new overlay view to help with multi-tasking, not much else is known.

I don’t know about you, but I am excited about this and will of course update as more information is available.
