The time has finally come; the weather is cooling, the leaves are falling and Microsoft is finally ready to announce their long awaited Windows Phone 7 platform.

Slated for Monday October 11th, at 3pm in New York City, Microsoft intends on finally showcasing the devices and applications that will be available for launch.

Still no word on a Canadian equivalent launch party (because the launch is simultaneous), but as the days draw closer, I’m sure more will be known.
