BlackBerry Torch 9800 dummies begin arriving in stores across GTA

Despite recent rumors of OS issues causing delays for its Canadian launch, it seems that Rogers is still on track for a release of the Torch 9800 on Friday, September 24th.

This picture was just sent to us of a dummy phone that arrived at a Rogers Plus retail location in the GTA. No word on stock availability just yet, but there shouldn’t be shortages like that of the iPhone 4.

The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is set to launch at $199.99 on a 3-year voice and data term.

    This is so crazy all this mixed news regarding whether it will be avilable tomorrow or not. Vaughan Mills Rogers still says they will have it tomorrow, while apparently other people are talking to Rogers reps saying they won’t. Guru, whats up with this!
