Is Android just a “Temporary” relief?
Remember last week when we reported Nokia’s sales? The one showing them outselling Apple and Google’s Android platform? Yea, that one.
Well, Anssi Vanjoki, EVP and GM of Mobile Solutions for Nokia, was quoted saying some other stand-out things, and frankly they were pretty hilarious. He was quoted comparing the Android platform to when Finnish boys pee their pants for warmth, saying:
“they were likely to enjoy only temporary relief with Google’s operating system… this temporary relief is similar to Finnish boys who pee in their pants for warmth during the cold winter”.
I think this is funny on so many levels. Nokia is known to be the butt of many-a -joke in the mobile sector for their Symbian OS (and lack of desire to change it), so to outsell their competition earns some bragging rights, and what better way to be a diplomatic winner than to insult the competition! I say enjoy the glory Nokia, it may not last too long.
