Wifi Media Backup for BlackBerry is a pretty cool app. It will automatically take media you capture on your BlackBerry handheld and back it up onto your PC when your BlackBerry is connected to the same Wifi network. The app comes in two parts, handheld, and desktop. Both need to be installed and confirgured in order for the app to work.

Shortly after I downloaded Wifi Media Backup, I pretty much forgot about it. A few days when I went to check, all of the new media I captured with my BlackBerry was in its respective folders on my PC! There are separate folders for Photos, Videos, Voice Notes, and Others. You also have the option to manually send files if you like to be selective, but I’m sure most of you would just prefer to set it and forget it!
