Since the launch of the incredibly popular Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant from Bell, Rogers’ customers have been banging down the doors to One Mount Pleasant (Rogers Canadian Head Office) looking for answers on the launch date for the Captivate, Rogers sister phone to the Vibrant. And given Rogers track record for less than informative answers, consumers have recently become frustrated.

Low and behold a teaser page has popped up today on the Rogers.com website, and when I say teaser… I mean big-time. This one is simply a “Pre-Order Available Soon” page, meaning only a matter of time before the real deal pre-order is launched.

Still no word on pricing, availability or release date, but expect this device to drop around the same time as the Torch 9800 (end of September).
