iOS 4.1 HDR Photos Are Pretty Amazing

Just wanted to quickly show off these shots I received showing off the new HDR capabilities in iOS 4.1. I’m told it shows up as a toggle, much like how flash is enabled/disabled. Photos will take an extra second or two to process and the original copy is saved (although that can be turned off). It doesn’t make every photo amazing. The new mode appears to work best on photos that actually need it (like taking a shot outdoors). Other photos will have some pretty ugly changes made to them, possibly a miscalculation-but hey, that’s why you save the original! Expect to see some pretty great shots hitting Flickr pretty fairly soon as the below ones aren’t too exciting (just basic demonstrations).
