You T-Mobile customers never had it real good when it came to Android devices. Sure, the Nexus One was released on your radio bands first, but the phone was never offered through retail channels, and therefore did not sell nearly as well as anticipated. Since the phone’s release five months ago, there have been a number of high-end Android devices released on various providers in the US: the Incredible on Verizon; the EVO 4G on Sprint; the Desire will be coming to US Cellular; the Nexus One was released for AT&T bands in March, and so on.

Now, the MyTouch 3G Slide, which is not a high-end device, but definitely fills a niche on the network, will be released on June 2nd for $179.99 on a 2-year contract. The phone is a 3.4″ HVGA (320×480) resolution screen, 5MP camera with autofocus, Android 2.1, and a nice slide-out QWERTY keyboard along with SWYPE on-screen keyboard pre-loaded.

The phone seems pretty nicely built, too. The interface is a customized Android 2.1, half-HTC Sense, half-stock Android.

Check out the pre-order page over at T-Mobile.
