This Week In BlackBerry 5/2 - 5/8

After the plethora of BlackBerry news last week from WES 2010, this week everything has been back to normal.
We’ve seen some more pics of the BlackBerry 9670 Clamshell, which most readers seem to dislike, to say the least. Some more pics of the BlackBerry slider leaked as well, showing nothing new besides that it is running BlackBerry 6.
We’ve also heard more rumors about the BlackBerry tablet which we really don’t know much about. There is much speculation on the BlackBerry tablet but it’ll be interesting to see more solid information. As of now, Its supposedly going to be smaller and thinner than the ipad. At first there were talks of it running an Android OS but new claims are OS 6. What would you like to see in a BlackBerry tablet? Flash? (I had to say it.) BBM? Enterprise? SurePress? Do you think RIM will do this tablet thing correctly or will they completely blow it?
On Wednesday, I loaded 5.0.0.656 on my 9700 and I couldn’t login to Twitter for BlackBerry. I was getting frustrated thinking the issue was within the OS build, until I saw some people on twitter saying they had the same issue and did not upgrade their OS. Twitter Support actually tweeted that there was a bug which was affecting Twitter for BlackBerry. I don’t follow @Support, but I saw the retweet from @BlackBerry. Did anyone else coincidentally load a new OS and think that was the problem?
