Rogers Adds MiFi Hotspot To Their Repertoire

Courtesy of the Novatel Mifi 2372, Rogers users with a data plan can now broadcast a 3G-based WiFi signal to five nearby devices at speeds of 7.2Mbps. While not quite reaching the blazing 21Mbps speeds of their ZTE MF668 Rocket Stick, this little device will help small groups work together without the need for a dedicated WiFi connection.
The device is also fairly well-equipped with features, as it allows GPS positioning and NAS storage, meaning through the MicroSDHC slot you can share your files with anyone on the network. Very clever.
Price is $50 on a three-year contract and $250 without a commitment, which, for this service, is actually a pretty good deal. Combine that with a $65 5GB data plan, and you have yourself internet wherever Rogers provides 3G, which is pretty good.
